Spring Slaw! Learn to ferment vegetables yourself!

The Strathcona Community Centre is hosting a Spring Slaw workshop next Thursday, presented by Village Vancouver.  Register to learn about fermenting local seasonal vegetables and to bring home a jar of your own customized spice mixture.

Date: Thursday May 28th (registration closes May 25th)

Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Location: Strathcona Community Centre

Fee: $15 + $7 for materials (discount available for LAC holders)

Participants will be fully active in making the slaw and should bring any of the following items that they can: cutting board, large knife, kitchen scissors, large bowl/tub, wide-mouth jar and lid.
